Thank you for choosing Yaya Teleprompter ("the App" or "we"). We take your privacy and personal data protection seriously. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before using our services.

1. Data We Collect

To provide core teleprompter script management, speech synchronization, and video recording capabilities, we may collect the following information:

• Account Identifiers: Unique user IDs and email addresses provided during Apple, Google, or OTP logins. Anonymous guest accounts use local device identifiers.
• User Profile: Display nicknames or custom profile details configured by you.
• Business Data: Teleprompter scripts, customized settings (rolling speed, font size, timed parameters), and associations between scripts and recorded video files.
• Device & Telemetry: System version, build numbers, platform name (iOS, Android, Web), and last active timestamps (used for telemetry updates).
• Subscription Records: When you subscribe (Monthly, Yearly, or Lifetime), we collect transaction receipts, subscription status, and linked emails. We do not collect or process raw credit card information (this is handled securely by App Store, Google Play, or Lemon Squeezy).

2. Purpose of Data Use

We process collected data solely to:

• Keep your scripts synchronized across multiple devices for registered accounts.
• Provide voice tracking synchronization algorithms on your device.
• Manage premium account entitlement status via RevenueCat and Lemon Squeezy.
• Troubleshoot application bugs and optimize telemetry configurations.

3. Data Storage & Sharing

• Cloud Datastores: Synchronized user data is securely hosted via Supabase Cloud (AWS APAC region).
• Local Cache: App scripts are saved locally using the Drift/SQLite database engine on your device for offline availability.
• Third-Party Integrations: Sensitive payment credentials are fully managed by App Store, Google Play, and Lemon Squeezy, and never pass through or reside on our servers.
• No Core Data Misuse: We do not sell, rent, or abuse your private scripts or video recording assets with third-party advertising brokers or unauthorized companies.

4. Your Rights (GDPR/PIPL Compliance)

• Access and Correction: You can modify script contents and profile nicknames directly in the App.
• Account Deletion: You can request account deletion in the settings menu. All synchronized scripts and profile records will be permanently erased from our cloud servers within 30 days.

5. Child Protection

The App is not intended for users under the age of 13. If we discover we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, we will erase it immediately.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Important version upgrades will trigger a notification popup on launch. Continuing to use the App constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
